Are you looking for upper elementary (3rd - 5th) grade ONLINE academic-focused private school? 4Points Academy offers a full academic curriculum with live teachers who engage in small class groups and provide your child with one-to-one instruction.
4Points Academy ONLINE offers a 3rd - 5th grade academic program where the students learn their grade level and above materials from the comfort and safety of their home. The online school offers full time and part time enrollment, and specific subject classroom plug-in for Math an ELA classes. Learn ONLINE from Certified teachers and subject matter specialists. Get 1-on-1 instruction in Math and ELA in breakout sessions. Video conference and collaborate in a live, online classroom with fellow students and teachers. Be taught Science and Social Studies in a small class group, with discussions and collaborative projects. Learn Spanish (elective) and participate in Chess Club and other activities. We offer two types of part-time enrollment: (i) partial week enrollment (2 days or 3 days); and (ii) single subject plug-in. Partial week enrollment enables students to work independently for one or two days per week, but meet in the classroom with their teacher and classmates the other days during the week. With the single subject plug-in, the students meet for a single subject several days per week and complete their assigned grade level curriculum with their teacher. For each of the core subjects and the languages, our curriculum is developed to meet and exceed state (i.e., Texas TEKS) and applicable national standards. The curriculum also helps our student’s achieve the key 21st Century skills ("Four Cs") - critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity across the core subjects areas, foreign languages, and the arts. Our adaptive assessment tool (Lets Go Learn) and our standards based online curriculum allows for adaptive learning and individualized learning paths. Our online curriculum are used in thousands of schools across America and are backed by years of research and proven success in student outcomes. Our online-curriculum is integrated seamlessly into the academic program, and is flexible enough to spiral up or down to meet the needs of each child. Most importantly our teachers are integrated into each student's learning path as they provide experienced assessment and teaching instruction. |
